Mrs. Hart was born on September 16, 1926 in East Millinocket, ME to Frederick and Catherine (Theriault) Thibodeau.
She attended Schenk High School in East Millinocket, ME and the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing where she received her R.N., following in her mother’s footsteps.
When she completed her training during World War II, mutual friends introduced her to William G. Hart who had just returned from war duty. They became great friends and later married. They enjoyed a happy marriage for 70 years.
Mrs. Hart worked as a school nurse in the Progresso and Weslaco, TX school system for 24 years.
Being a child of the Depression, she had a strong work ethic. She was frugal but extremely generous with both her time (volunteering at soup kitchens and parish activities) and money she saved over many years which was used to help finance her children and grandchildren’s education as well as contributing to numerous charities.
She is survived by her husband, William G. Hart, Sr. and by her son and daughter and their spouses, William Jr. and Myra Hart, and Anne (Hart) and Daniel Cavazos; grandchildren William G. Hart III and wife Shirley, step granddaughter Morgan Taylor, Jonathan Cavazos, Mary Katherine(Cavazos) Flores and husband Mathew, Elizabeth (Cavazos) Rubio and husband Gabriel, Emily Cavazos, and Thomas Cavazos; three great grandchildren William Hart IV, James Hart, and Madelyn Flores.
