Melody Lou Trapp, born on December 23, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Royce Stanley and Carol Elizabeth Putt, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
Melody was a loving wife, an amazing mother, and a devoted grandmother. Her family was the greatest joy in her life, and she cherished every moment spent with the people she loved. She had a beautiful heart, a generous spirit, and a way of making those around her feel loved and cared for.
Melody was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Trapp. Their life together was filled with memories, love, and family—a love that will continue to live on through the children and grandchildren they shared.
She is survived by her children: Christopher Trapp and his wife, Summer; son Montgomery Trapp; and daughter Megan Jobe and her husband, Matthew. She was a proud grandmother to Taylor, Brett, Savannah, Aiden, and Rylee, who brought immeasurable love and happiness into her life.
Melody’s greatest legacy is the love she gave her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, family, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Her love, laughter, kindness, and memories will remain with us forever.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
