Melvin W. Boeck

Melvin W. Boeck of Live Oak passed away after a brave battle with cancer on Friday September 24, 2010 at the age of 51. He was born August 8, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to Malford and Margaret (Mueller) Boeck. He was the City of Schertz Public Works Inspector and was employed with the City of Schertz for 21 years. He loved working with his friends in Schertz, his family farm, and his animals. Melvin was loved by all who knew him because of his willingness to always help. Most of all, he is known for being a proud Aggie Dad. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Cynthia Boeck; son, Kevin Boeck; brothers, Thomas Boeck (Shelley), Marvin Boeck (Janet); sister, Maxine Sullivan (Brian); nieces, Amanda Mora, Jennifer Suarez, Karen and Carol Sullivan. Visitation will be Monday, September 27, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited Monday, September 27, 2010 at 7:30 P.M., and Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest at Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78209 followed by a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum.
