Beloved husband and father passed away April 29, 2012. He was born on June 26, 1930 in Cuero, Texas to Leverette and Lillian Lewis Boesewetter. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister; survived by his 5 children; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Bernie was a retired Air Force Major and teacher; he loved history, teaching, good movies with popcorn, classical music, traveling and walking. He’ll be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May, 4, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
