Michael joined the Army at the age of 17 to become a Combat Medic. He deployed several times in different locations in the world. He lived in Hawaii, Okinawa, Kentucky, Germany, and El Paso, TX before making San Antonio his permanent residence.
Michael was a loving, dedicated father and his world revolved around his son Michael George Husky Jr., and his daughter, Bridgett Reyne Husky. His children remember him as a loving, funny, one of a kind father who always encouraged and supported them to pursue their goals. “Make Good Decisions” Dad and Mikey enjoyed playing games and talking about comic books together. Dad and Bridgett were constantly making jokes and singing Adele in the car.
Michael was passionate about his family. He was everyone’s go-to man for life advice, or if you needed a shoulder to lean on. He was the glue to the family. Michael and Donna always planned fun trips and memorable game nights for all the nieces and nephews. He definitely was the “Funcle” (the fun uncle).
Michael is predeceased by his son: Brandon A. Husky; grandparents: Raymond Thomas Husky, Evelyn Aileen (Robinson), Maave Saie Jamias, and Leonardo Jamias.
He is survived by his children: Michael George Husky Jr, and Bridgett Reyne Husky; parents: George Garry Husky, Reyne Maave Husky; Yeou Jenkins; sisters, Donna Husky, Marianne Estrada, Jaylene (Jody) Pombrio, Avery Husky; nieces: Larisa, Milian, Aubrey, Sienna, Valerie, Violet Husky, Zenib, Josephine brothers: Frankie Husky, Ernest Husky; nephews: Braeden Husky, Jeremiah Pombrio, George Julius, Josiah Estrada; along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
