Michael John Wagener

Michael was born in Kerrville, Texas on January 4, 1995, to parents, Michael Scott Wagener and Leticia Vela Wagener.

Michael loved music, singing karaoke and dancing. He enjoyed being at the lake with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Mary Lou Wagener, maternal grandparents, Baldemar Vela and Maria Vela, aunts, Molly Wagener and Wanda Vela Castillo, and uncle, Raul Vela Sr.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Michael Scott Wagener (wife Victoria Wagener) and Leticia Vela Wagener, sister, Hillary Ann Abbate (husband Steven Abbate), nieces, Olivia Jean Abbate and Sophia Lou Abbate, and his paternal grandfather, Carl John Wagener.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his many friends who helped out financially and provided moral support during this difficult time.

A visitation for Michael will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, at Colonial Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266.

There is a reception to follow the graveside service at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.
