Michiko Brown

Michiko Brown went to be with the Lord October 9, 2018, at the age of 82, in San Antonio, TX. Michiko was born March 31, 1936 in Kagoshima, Japan to Hiroshi Hongo and wife, Mura. Michiko had a very, very hard young life, but with Carl's love, she was like a queen and he was her king. Together, they had a wonderful life. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl W. Brown, to whom she was married for 43 years. Her survivors include her brothers, Motohiro (Mikae) Hongo and Minoru (Junko) Hongo; sister, Kazue (Hidenari) Uba; stepsister, James (Janice) Brown of Yukon, OK; sisters-in-law, Maxine (Kenneth) Petrov, of Carney, OK, Evelyn Brown of Guthrie, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law, Emory L. Brown, Vance Brown and her special grandmother, by whom she was raised. Michiko Brown was a Christian. She was kind, honest and often expressed her opinions and feelings openly, such that you always knew where you stood with her. Michiko had strong convictions and beliefs. She saw situations in life as black or white; right or wrong, but rarely anything in the middle. She was a loving wife to Carl, a hard worker and loved learning new things. At 82 years of age, she exercised regularly, attended church and proudly participated in computer classes. Michiko loved her friends, her family, her church family and her computer class. Her family thanks all of the Hospice workers, Visiting Angels, numerous friends and especially her two good friends for Michiko's loving end-of-life care. Visitation will be held October 15, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX. Funeral Services follow from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Chaplain Michael Hayhurst officiating. Burial will be October 17, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:00 A.M. Chaplain Damon Boucher officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to K9's for Warriors or to the Protestant Chapel at Randolph Air Force Base. Arrangements under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home.

美智子ブラウンの追悼の辞

美智子ブラウンは2018年10月9日に82歳でテキサス州サンアントニオで逝去しました。　　　

美智子は1936年3月31日、日本の鹿児島で生まれました。美智子は非常に厳しい青年期を送りましたが、カーロの愛情により彼女は女王のように人生を送ることができ、また彼は彼女の王でした。ふたりは共に素晴らしい人生を送りました。ブラウン夫人は43年間連れ添った最愛の夫であるカーロW.ブラウンに先立たれました。遺族は兄弟の本郷元裕（ミカエ）、本郷稔（純子）、妹の姥和江（英成）、オクラホマ州ユーコンの義弟のジェームス（ジャニス）ブラウン、オクラホマ州カーニーの義妹のマキシーン（ケネス）ペトロフ、オクラホマ州ガスリーのエヴリン（ジャニス）ブラウンです。その他多数の甥、姪、友人たちがいます。彼女は両親、義兄、エモリー L.ブラウン、ヴァンスブラウン及び彼女の特別な存在であった育ての親の祖母のところに旅立ちました。

美智子ブラウンはクリスチャンでした。彼女は心優しく、素直でたびたび自己の意見を主張し、はっきりものを言う人でした。美智子は強い信念と信条を持っていました。彼女はカーロの愛すべき妻であり、勤勉で常に好奇心旺盛で新しいことを学ぶことに貪欲な人でした。82歳に至るまで彼女は定期的に運動をし、教会に行き、コンピュータークラスに参加しました。

彼女の遺族はホスピスワーカーのすべての方、Visiting Angels、数多くの友人たち、そして特に美智子の終末期の介護をしてくれた二人の友人たちに感謝しています。Visitation（通夜）は2018年10月15日午前10時から11時までテキサス州ユニバーサルシティ、キティホーク通り625のコロニアル葬儀場にて行われます。葬儀はその後11時から12時にマイケル ヘイハースト牧師にて執り行われます。埋葬は2018年10月17日にフォートサムヒューストンナショナル墓地にて午前9時からデイモン ボイチャー牧師にて執り行われます。
