Mirna had a unique and sweet spirit that was contagious. She loved unicorns, finding joy and magic in their symbolism, and she was happiest with classic rock playing in the background. Her laughter, strong personality, and compassionate heart made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Besides Mirna’s parents, she was preceded in death by her parents, ; her brother, Billy Broussard; and her sister, Margo Byrd.
Mirna cherished many living relatives including her son, Matthew Colascione and grandchild Sebastian of San Antonio, Texas; Jon Meneley and Iris Meneley and children, Hendrix and Jasmine of Dallas, Texas, her twin sister, Virna (DD) Jaresh; sisters, Laura Bazaldua, Rhonda (Jodie) Ducan, and Becky Greathouse; brothers, Joshua Broussard and Bill Turner; and best friend Gloria Dennis of California as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will cherish her memory. Lastly, she leaves behind her “babies” as she called them, Kali and Max.
Mirna will be remembered for her strength during difficult times, caring nature, and ability to find joy in the simple things. Whether listening to her favorite classic rock songs, admiring unicorns, or spending time with loved ones, she embraced life in her own special way.
Your presence and support during this difficult time mean a great deal to our family.
