She lived her life for God and family. She loved gardening, cooking, cake decorating, and sewing. She was also gifted with the skills for knitting and crocheting. When she was a member of First Baptist Church in Schertz she volunteered in the children's nursery and helped prepare meals in the kitchen on Wednesday nights. She passed her driving test in her 60's and enjoyed driving to visit her friends and shopping. Her kindness extended beyond our family. She was always lending a helping hand or a listening ear to friends, family and neighbors. Her gentleness and kind heart touched everyone she met. After she relinquished her driver’s license, she became a member of The Country Church, and she greatly appreciated the friends she made. Our mother will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
