Nicholas Michael Dimitroff, age 42, passed away peacefully from Pancreatic Cancer on Monday, January 6th, 2020 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. He was surrounded by loving family members and loyal friends.

Nick was born on September 26, 1977 in Denver, Colorado to William and Pamella Dimitroff. He was a 1997 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School, and had a heart the size of Texas. Nick was not only kind, caring, and compassionate, he was also an amazing trouble-shooter and the hardest worker you would ever meet.

Nick lived life to the fullest; he had a passion for cars, was a skilled automotive detailer, loved DIY home-improvement projects, enjoyed spending time with loved ones, and adored his rescue cat, Pogo. Nick positively-impacted everyone and everything around him. His amazing smile, giving spirit, and charismatic personality will be missed forever.

Nick is survived by his parents, William and Pamella Dimitroff, sisters Regina Somogyi and Amanda McDonald, grandmother, Evanka Dimitroff, and numerous nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Nick's kindness and generosity are invited to COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 9th, 2020, to reminisce and celebrate Nick's life. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Flowers may be sent to the same address, but the family would prefer donations be made in Nick's honor, to the American Cancer Society. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 10th, 2020 at 1:30 pm, at COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX. Following the funeral service, Nick will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX.

I just found out late last night and I am in complete shock and saddened. I want to send my condolences to the family; if I would have known I would have been there.
It had been a few years since I saw Nick but it was always great seeing and talking to him about how he has been and then somehow we would always end up talking about our great childhood memories. We had so much fun growing up and I’m going to miss my childhood best friend. Hope you are in a better place my friend.
