Patricia Ann Grigsby, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, veteran, and friend, passed away on May 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and the many lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.
Born on February 17, 1948, Patricia lived a life defined by faith, service, dedication, and compassion. She devoted her life to the teachings of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and her faith served as a guiding force in everything she did. Through her words, actions, and unwavering belief, she sought to reflect Christian values of love, kindness, forgiveness, and service to others.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Claby Carmouche; her mother, Angelena Carmouche; and her beloved sister, Marilyn Carmouche.
Patricia proudly served her country as a member of the United States Air Force for 10 years, demonstrating the commitment and strength that would characterize her entire life. Following her military service, she continued her career in public service, dedicating 25 years to Civil Service before retiring.
Patricia was a devoted wife to her husband, Robert D. Grigsby Sr., and a loving mother to her son, Marcus Grigsby (Michele Medina Grigsby). She was an immensely proud grandmother to Nicholas Medina (28), Noah Medina Grigsby (23), and Trinity Medina Grigsby (21), whose accomplishments and happiness brought her endless joy.
She is also survived by her siblings: Beverly Woods (Charles), Frederick Carmouche (Beverly), Nathan Carmouche, Greta Carmouche, Ralph Carmouche (Harriet),and Cheryl Carmouche; a host of nieces and nephews, and numerous lifelong friends. Patricia cherished her relationships with her family and maintained deep and lasting bonds with relatives and friends throughout her life.
An avid gardener, Patricia found peace and happiness nurturing flowers and plants, creating beauty wherever she lived. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved grand-dogs, who brought her companionship, laughter, and unconditional love.
Above all, Patricia treasured the relationships she built throughout her life. She valued family gatherings, friendships, and shared memories, always making time for those she loved. Her faith, kindness, wisdom, strength, and unwavering devotion to others will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and love that will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations to come. While her presence will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the hope and promises of her faith and in the knowledge that her love will remain in their hearts forever.

Patricia will be lovingly remembered, forever cherished, and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her life was a testament to faith, service, and unconditional love, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. with Reception to follow on June 27, 2026 at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148.
