Patricia Ann McAuliffe

Patricia Ann (Vanston) McAuliffe passed away on May 5, 2016 in Boerne, Texas at the age of 69. She was born on August 16, 1946 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to John and Grace (McGonigle) Vanston. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wendell “Bud” McAuliffe and grandson Brody McAuliffe. She is survived by daughter Erin McAuliffe and son-in-law James Killian; son Sean McAuliffe and daughter-in-law Mary McAuliffe; grandchildren Graelen, Athena and Alexander Killian; Brayden, Bryce and Brennan McAuliffe. Patsy, a long-time football fan, loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Colonial Funeral Home at 5:30 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Converse. Interment will immediately follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org or P.O.
