Quyn was born January 16, 1969 in Savannah, Georgia. She was the daughter of Leroy and Viola Williams. She attended Savannah High School, graduating in 1987.
On January 19, 1988, she joined the United States Air Force, serving tours in Colorado, Korea, Germany, Nebraska, Texas and Ohio. She retired from the Air Force after serving honorably for 21 years. She received numerous awards and medals during her tenure in the Air Force to include the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters. Additionally, she received degrees in Para Legal Studies and Information Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force. She ended her work career working for the Department of Justice, in San Antonio Texas.
She was a past member of Starlette Chapter #63, the Order of the Eastern Stars, Geraldine Magwood Assembly #323, The Order Of The Golden Circle, and Al Kerak Court #179,Daughters of ISIS (AEAONMS).
Her goal in life was to ensure her daughter had all the opportunities that life can give. She worked tirelessly to create new paths, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her true love, her daughter Kiana Howard, her father Leroy Williams, brothers Christopher, Jerry and Lyn Williams, and host of aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother Viola Williams.
A visitation for Quyn will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 9:00 AM, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas. An interment will occur Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10:45 AM at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas.
