

Ralph Craig, age 75, a native of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on April 4, 2023. Our beloved Ralph departed to heaven in the comfort of his daughter’s home in Live Oak, TX with his family by his side.
Ralph was a true fighter and hero. He fought so hard for many years through pain but his heart and body were tired and now he is resting in peace and pain free.
Ralph served his country with the U.S. Army from April, 1966 to October, 1987. He retired after 21 years as a proud 1SG with Combat Engineer. He later retired from the State of Texas Department of Corrections after 15 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly Craig of San Angelo, TX. He is also survived by his daughter, Rebecca Denise Craig D’Adda of Live Oak, TX, son-in-law, Alfred D’Adda, and grandson, Dustin D’Adda, all of Live Oak, TX. He is also survived by his son, Bryan Charles Craig, daughter-in-law Sandra Craig, granddaughter, Tammy Merwin, and grandson, Nick Merwin, all of San Angelo, TX. Ralph had several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Charles Craig, his mother, Peggy Craig, and his brother, Melvin Craig, all of Richmond Indiana.
He was loved by so many and is truly missed.
Services will be held on April 27th for visitation from 5 – 8 pm, at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City, TX. On Friday, April 28, 2023, a chapel service will be held at 10:45 am (Funeral Home). At 1:30 pm Ralph will be escorted to the National Cemetery at Fort Sam Houston, TX to be laid to rest with full military honors. Service will be from 2:30 to 3.
