Reina Alejandra Sylve

Reina Alejandra Sylve, age 31, of Universal City, Texas, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. Reina was born on October 7, 1993 in El Progresso, Honduras to Hector Galo and Reyna Quintero

Reina loved her family Jason, Rayne Amor and Nova Rei more than she ever thought imaginable. She put her all into loving unconditionally and making a significant impact on their lives. Jason always wanted a strong, intelligent, loving and hardworking woman and that’s exactly who Reina was. She enjoyed trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, making others laugh and of course Anime. Her dream was to eventually return to school and pursue a nursing career. She enjoyed making new memories and bringing people together.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the friends and relatives who have given them comfort and support in this time of need. Reina's light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Reina is preceded in death by her grandparents Maura Argueta and Vidal Martinez.

Reina leaves behind to cherish her memory; her husband of 3 years Jason Raymond Sylve, beloved daughters Nova Rei and Rayne Amor Sylve, parents Hector Galo and Reyna Quintero, brothers Luis, Rafael, and Daniel Galo-Quintero, and her sisters Nidia and Marbellis Galo-Quintero.

A celebration of life for Reina will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148, followed by a reception from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made by donation to Reina's husband, Jason Sylve.
