Sioning was a special friend I worked with in Lawton, Oklahoma at the Jim Taliaferro Mental Health Center from 1979-1982.  We kept in touch over the years and my husband and I enjoyed trips to San Antonio to visit her,
 She was such an upbeat person--I will always remember her laughter and fun personality and enthusiasm for so many things.   I have fond memories of going to her home for her delicious "leftovers" during the work week and also enjoying fishing and camping trips.  She and Ed were a special couple who lived life to the fullest!
We will certainly miss Sioning and appreciate the opportunity to view the funeral and burial online--that meant a lot to be able to be a part of it, even though from a distance.  ❤❤

Thank you Frank for sharing your  moms pictures from a beautiful little girl to adulthood.  We are keeping the memories we shared with her close to our heart, as you will in yours. I’m proud to have you for my nephew .  

Dear Frank, You were a wonderful son to your mom always coming home to visit staying in close contact with  her.My forever memories of her will always be our long conversations on the phone and the time that I spent with you and your parents in Europe and Texas.Your mom was a wonderful Person, Mother , Wife and Friend . When I was 22 yrs. old, I was blessed to spend several weeks with Scioning and her family.  In 1977 I traveled to Germany with my friend Eileen from high school.  Her brother Ed was in the Army and stationed in Frankfurt.  Their apartment had been military barracks for German officers during WWII.
They were so kind and helpful to us and even invited us to go on a road trip to Spain they had planned.  So the 5 of us piled into their Ford Van and traveled for about 2 weeks!  We drove through France and went down the Mediterranean coast camping along the way.  Scioning had arrange for us to use her boss' condo on the beach in Cadiz.  Nice! She was able to translate languages for us along the way, she was so smart!
We shopped at road side stands, ate great food, talked and laughed. We also visited many huge ancient churches and stopped at the Prado in Madrid.   Frank was an adorable 4 year old! we stayed 4 more weeks after that.  It was such a special time with this family and is one of my favorite memories and feel so thankful for it.

I met Sioning when she was the secretary for the Pharmacy Squadron at Wilford Hall. I talked to her quite often and she loved the few words (in tagalog) that I had learned when I was stationed at Clark Air Base in the PI back in 1991-1992.  Sioning collected angels and on my travels throughout the world, I would send her unique angels and she LOVED them.  I had a chance to see her again a few times after I PCS'd and we loved catching up.  She was so sweet and sent my daughter gifts when she was born and on many of her birthdays.  She was a very sweet lady. It's been awhile since I had heard  so I wasn't sure what was going on. May you rest in peace Sioning. You will be missed.

Our first time to meet Ate Sioning last 2004 when she visited the Philippines. She has a lot of stories to tell at that time that hours are not enough for us. She loves the hammock that she even asked my husband Elmer to send it to her back in Texas. We know that you are in a better place now in heaven. May your soul rest in peace, Ate.

Sioning was our squadron secretary and I served with her for a number of years at Wilford Hall. She always had a smile for everyone and tried to keep us organized. She loved flowers, her animals, and her family and friends. Her faith was very important to her as well. We will miss her laughter, kindness, and cooking, always. Our hearts go out to her son Frank as we know her passing will leave a hole that cannot be filled.  Lt Col Cindy and Skip Lee
