Rheba Mellinger Pike

Rheba June (Mellinger) Pike passed away on August 29, 2011 at the age of 81. She was born on June 4, 1930 in Patoka, Indiana to Floyd and Nova King Mellinger, preceded in death by her parents; son, John Allen Pike; brothers, Russell Mellinger and Dale Mellinger. Survived by her loving husband of 63 Years, Albert Neal Pike; daughter, Constance Kay Pike (Roberts); son, Philip Edward Pike; granddaughters, Jennifer Austin, Lisa Uosukainen, Wendy Christman, Roxanne Church and Brooke Pike; great-grandchildren, Mia, Mira, Matias, Mitilda, Hanna, Haley and Jaxon. Rheba graduated High School in 1948 from Princeton High in Princeton, Indiana; attended the Universal City United Methodist Church and was a Member of the Sigma Phi sorority for 50 years. A funeral service will be held at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 12:30 P.M. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
