“Rick The Stick”

Richard Mireles passed on the early morning of Friday, August 13, 2010. Rick was well known throughout San Antonio and Austin for his early morning radio shows for years. Rick is survived by his long time girlfriend Eva Demers, his daughter Bridgette Mireles, mother Beatriz Mireles, sister Veronica McGowan, niece Gina McGowan, and life time friends Mary Monsebias, Jack Hatala and Robert Wood. The family would like to thank their families and friends for the outpour of prayers and kindness. To fulfill his wishes his ashes will be spread at Central Park in New York City. Memorial services will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148 on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital fund in Rick’s memory.
