Dear Fink Family:

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved. There are never any right words to express how deeply sad I am for the pain your family is enduring at this difficult time.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service in defense of our rights and freedom.

His commitment to family, friends, our community, and to serving our great nation leaves a wonderful legacy. May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers.

Bob took great pride in carrying a photo of Jeanne in his wallet that had been there since, I believe 1949. I don't quite recall Bob's terminology, but he spoke of Jeanne as his greatest catch. I was only five but I recall Jeanne bringing Bob to meet the family on Baetz. I'm pretty sure I was crying because someone was trying to comb (yank) the tangles out of my hair for the occasion. May God's peace be with all of your family, Jeanne. Love, Lib

To the entire Family, I am so sorry for your loss. We will miss him dearly, When he would come to the shop he would have a serious look on his face, and then he would just smile. He will be missed. Thoughts and Prayers will be with you. Bob, Lori, Mike Simmang

The Converse Lions Club is celebrating 65 years of service. Its quality of service and its longevity are attributed to caring human beings like Bob. Bob's dry wit and sarcastic humor always made you wonder just where you stood. At the same time, his genuine kindness let you know things were alright. Bob was the first known graduate of the University of Fink with a B.S.B.S. God Bless You, from a fellow alumnus, a neighbor, a friend and a fellow Lion.

Mike and I send our deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family. What a wonderful man he was. I'm sorry not to have had a chance to meet him, but having known all of you (and especially Susan) all these years, it's clear to see his spirit being paid forward into the world.

I remember Bob very well from our days at the Highway Dept. He was just GOOD people, my friend and colleague. He brought a lot to the NE section and all of us who worked with him will miss him. He was someone the family can be VERY proud of.
