T/Sgt. Robert J. Nadeau U.S. Air Force (Retired)

T/Sgt. Robert J. Nadeau, U.S. Air Force Retired, age 76 of Live Oak went to be with the Lord November 17, 2010. He was born March 13, 1934 in Boston, Massachusetts to Edward and Jennie (Janelle) Nadeau. He served during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He is a member of VFW Post #4676 in Universal City and VFW Post #8315 in Schertz. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert L. Nadeau; brother, Edward John Nadeau and sister, Evelyn Mulkern. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sunny Ann Nadeau; mother-in-law, Lola Sterling; children, Monique Haynes and husband Johnny, Nannette Dean and husband Brian, Jennette Gerloff and Steve Clay, Guy Whitesides, Jennifer Hollis and husband Billy and Craig Thompson; daughter-in-law, Korina L. Nadeau; grandchildren, Barry Third, Jr. and wife Jackie, Robert Third, Kristy Pogue and Chaz Hicks, Brody Nadeau and Christian Hollis; sister-in-law, Mary Nadeau and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 9:45 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
