I first met Ron in the summer of 2007 at camp ALZAFAR. He was a neighbor of a good friend Ralph Purvis and they were good friends. I spent many hours visiting Ron and Dorothy at camp and learned how to smoke Ron's infamous brisquet from the master himself. Ron, just as our friend Ralph was a great friend and mentor as I became a Master Mason and Shriner. I was with Ron when Dorothy passed away and will never forget the love they shared and his grief upon her passing. Ron was one of those few men that you could always depend on when you needed help or to give the right advice in difficult times. May God rest his soul and bless his entire family!
