Rowena N. "Row" Neal Siddon

Rowena N. “Row” Siddon passed away on December 28, 2011 at the age of 77. She was born on June 9, 1934 in Windfield Louisiana to J. T. and Catherine Ruth Neal. Row is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sgt. Major Sam D. Siddon; brother, Gerald H. Neal and sister, Billie R. Lawless; survived by her children, Elaine Havlic, husband William, Jay Tee Palmer, husband Robert; Sammie Hoefler, husband Charles and sister, Barbara C. Green; grandchildren, Billy Havlic, Sam Palmer, wife Jessica; Bobby Havlic, wife Alanna and Scott Palmer; great-grand children, Cadence Renee Palmer and Olivia Claire Havlic. Rowena loved the travel she had while Sam was in the Army. She especially loved Europe and saw as many countries as she could while stationed overseas. She was an avid quilter and made many quilts for her family. Row loved being outdoors fishing and working in her garden. She also had a great affection for those of her Sunday School Class, Evergreen, at the First Baptist Church of Universal City. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 12:00 P.M.-1:00 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
