Roy W. Stroud passed away peacefully on March 9, 2013 at the age of 94 and is now with his beloved wife of 62 years, Sarah Ethel. Roy is survived by his daughters, Selby McDaniel and Susan, son-in-law, Robert Deets; granddaughter, Laura (Arthur), grandson Roy (Devona); five great grandchildren, Jami, Carli, Amara, Roy and Rylan, and his cat Theo. He was proud to be a USAF retired JAG WWII decorated combat veteran, with 65 missions in a B-26 Marauder and on active duty through Korea and Vietnam. He loved the law and was a respected retired attorney and municipal court Judge in Texas. Roy was a truly wonderful man with great faith and love of his family and church. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Viewing Monday, March 18, 2013 from 6-9 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas. Graveside service on Tuesday, March 19, at 1:15 PM at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, Texas with full military honors.
