Roy D. Walters passed away on September 11, 2011 at the age of 81. He was born on February 5, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Raymond and Marie Harris Walters. Preceded in death by his parents; survived by his loving wife Laura G. Walter; daughters, Rose Schleicher and Theresa Burgess; step-children Cindy Hotopp, her husband Roger, Lauren Moya, Lee Eubanks and Joe Eubanks, his wife Lori; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Roy spent 33 years of Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base, was veteran of the Korean War and medically retired from the U.S. Air Force. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 A.M. at the John Calvin Presbyterian Church at 8102 Midcrown Dr. San Antonio, Tx 78239. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to the John Calvin Presbyterian Church Music Department through the general memorial Fund.
