It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Russell Marcus Johnston, who left us on March 27, 2025, at the age of 77. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Born on February 11, 1948, in Tacoma, Washington, he lived a full life dedicated to his family and community.
Russell proudly served in the United States Air Force for 26 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. After his military service, he continued to contribute to his community through civil service. He was known for his love for his family, his silly jokes, and always having a beer in hand. His wisdom and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Autumn Myers and husband Brad Myers; granddaughters Emma Mikolajczyk and Allison McPherson; great grandchildren Chase, Izabella, Graysie, Cooper, Skylyn Blu, and Rhyder. He will be remembered for his love, laughter, and the countless memories he created with his family.
