Severiano Delgado Jr.

MSgt Severiano Delgado, Jr, USAF, Retired passed away on August 16, 2013 at the age of 77. He was born on September 3, 1935 in McAllen, Tx to Severiano Sr. and Consuelo (Gonzalez) Delgado. Severiano is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Aida G. Delgado; brother, Luis Enrique Delgado; and sister, Pauline Delgado Perez; nephews, Noe Sanchez Jr. and Leo Norbie Sanchez; niece, Irene Ramos Lopez; survived by his loving wife Amparo (Gomez) Delgado; son, David A. Delgado, his wife Martha L.; and daughter, Dina L. Delgado; granddaughter, Allison Delgado; sibilings, Minerva Sanchez, husband Noe, Viola Ramos, husband Rodolfo, Juan Gilbert Delgado, wife Eva, Robert Delgado, wife Diana, and Consuelo Ortega, husband Renaldo; step-children, Sonya Villarreal Rush, husband David, Sergio Villarreal, wife Marie, and Rene Villarreal, wife Angela; step-grandchildren, Alex McDonald, Bella Rush, Adrianna Villarreal, Alysia Villarreal, Aiden Villarreal and Analiese Villarreal; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, VFW and the American Legion. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Interment with full military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A reception will follow at the VFW Post 4676 at 202 W Aviation Blvd in Universal City.
