Sheila was born in Buffalo, New York on January 25, 1934, and was one of 12 children. She married Robert Emmett Frost on August 31, 1957, who predeceased her in 2001. Together they raised 9 children: Terrence (Kathy) Frost, Colleen France, Patrick (Patricia) Frost, Maureen (Joe) Padilla, Kevin (Nikom) Frost, Brendan (Michelle) Frost, Kelly (Kevin) Fazzone, Sean (Cherie) Frost and Glenn (Shelley) Frost. Sheila had 22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Robert and Sheila raised their family with a commitment to service. After moving to Texas, Sheila worked for a number of years at the Youth Center on Randolph Air Force Base where Robert was stationed. Sheila was active at St. Monica’s Catholic Church where she volunteered in the thrift shop. She had a life-long love of sports and imbued that in her children as well. She was a die-hard Spurs fan and loved Tiger Woods. She also loved music, particularly the music of John Denver.
Sheila was a devout Catholic and had a very strong devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. You could find her every day at 3:00 p.m. praying a daily rosary. If anyone in the family needed anything from a new job, to sale of a home, to safe travels, or health issues, you knew she would be praying continually for your needs. She loved her family dearly and would always thank God for her many blessings and the joy her family brought her.
Her loving spirit and compassionate soul will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care.
