I searched the name of John Woodworth who was my best friend at boysville.  This came up and flooded me with memories.  I left boysville at 7 years old, but will always remember Stan.  He made an impression on me as a great guy at a very young age.  God bless and keep his soul.  I'll never forget a cold truck a warm heart and "hey check out my leg".  lol  He was a real 4-H man.

I will always remember Stan.He was such a great man. He gave his heart to us at boysville. I know he's in heaven looking down upon us. R.I.P. We will NEVER forget what you have done for us!! We love you Stan!!!

I remember meeting stand when I was 5 years old. Being one of the first girls at Boysville. He always showed me the importance of school and made sure I was on top of my grades. He will be missed surely by many. May he rest in peace...

Stan was such a friend to me at Boysville, supportive, helpful, always well meaning.  He worked so hard and long for the boys.  I will never forget him and I will always be grateful to him for his dedication.  (We also had some dandy fights but they didn't last long and they were private and the best kind--differences of opinion when neither of us was really wrong--just had different ways of solving a problem.)

Stan Bond was one of a kind!! He would give you the shirt off his back!! We lost a great caring loving man. My condolences to his family!! Thank you and see you in heaven!! Love, John Woodworth

Ardie, I just spoke with a fellow retiree from Northeast Baptist Hospital, the Director of Volunteers, who told me that she had seen Stan's obituary a while back.  I was stunned to hear he had died.  How I missed his obit, I'll never know because for many years that is the first section of the paper I read every morning.

Having you and Stan in the "Care Team Class" I taught at the hospital was a great delight. I felt like I knew you at first meeting, mainly because both of Stan's parents were very active, and much appreciated, Volunteers at NBH.

Please know that I will be praying for you as you continue to work through the grief process.  God's richest blessings upon you, those those at Boysville whom he touched!!!

Stan was just like one of the heros in the children's books when I was growing up. He always was such a kind, giving person who cared for others. I enjoyed listening his Boysville's  stories while I was cutting his hair. I'll sure miss him...,

Stan was a dear friend who will always be remembered for his advocacy on behalf of the children of Boysville.  I will remember him for his humor and kindness.  We shared many memories and I will be forever grateful for our time together at Boysville.  Ed and I are traveling and can't be at the service tonight but our thoughts and prayers are with Ardie, Clay and Stan's extended family.  God bless you.

My deepest condolences, I met Stan as a young man of 20 in 1978, I got to know him as the toughest guy I knew with the softest heart,a great mentor to me and all of the boys at Boysville. Stan's dedication was second to none. He will be greatly missed.

Our community has lost a wonderful man. Stan was such a great school liaison for the Boysville kids, a mentor to the kids, staff, and teachers, and such a great friend to both my parents.  He is truly one of Boysville's "Angels" now. He will be missed!

Stan was a truly good and generous man who I have been blessed to call family for several years. We will miss him.

Stan was a guy that dedicated his life to helping those who needed it most. I consider myself lucky to have gotten to know Stan over the years. We all lost a friend and a loved one with his passing. My deepest sympathies go out to Ardie and family and friends.

Stand Bond was a great, caring man and my heart and condolences go out to Ardie and all of the family. Stand loved to endlessly tease me when Bonnie and I would get together. While that was many years ago, I can still remember the mischievous and fun-loving twinkle in his eye.

The first time I saw Stan he was bringing a Boysville student to enroll at Kirby JHS. He was an advocate for the children at Boysville. I know that he wanted them to have a better life than the one they were leaving.

Ann and I would see Stan and Ardie at the JHS vollyball games where Bonnie and Misty playing. We had fun encouraging the girls to play harder.

We will miss Stan. Our family sends our love to the Bond family.

I will never forget everything Stan did for me personally---his support and encouragement helped me more than he could have known---and his loyalty to Boysville, the staff, and the children was amazing and inspirational. Sorry to hear of Stan's passing.  He was such an inspiration to all who knew him.  He was an outstanding neighbor and friend.  Thanks for everything you did for all of the Boysville children.  You will truly be missed.

In Summer of 1986 when stepping foot on the Boysville campus Stan was one of the first people I met. Because of his help my transition in living @ Boysville was made easier. My Condolences to all the Bond family!

Stan will be greatly missed by so many.  He did so much for the children of Boysville as well as for those he worked with.  I will cherish the memories I have of him.  He smiled and laughed a lot and made others laugh.  Ardie, Clay, and Stan's other family members will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Stan will leave a hole in our lives.  He was best friend and co-consprator(prankster) with Ed.  They were true best friends and buddies.  Stan leaves our hearts broken and sad with his passing, but we have many wonderful memories of his life and blessings he left us on this earth. He touched the lives of so many children and adults alike. We miss you Stan.
