

Susan Moline passed away on September 30, 2014. She was born on September 21, 1946 in Fairmont, Minnesota. She moved with her family to Grantsburg, Wisconsin and attended public schools. She graduated from Wisconsin State University, Superior in 1968. While at WSU, she was active in the Angel Flight and met her husband, an ROTC cadet. They were married on January 21, 1967. She accompanied her husband to numerous assignments like Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wiesbaden, Germany (where both of their children were born), San Antonio, TX. Sacramento, California, Dayton, Ohio, Satellite Beach, Florida, and Seoul, South Korea. While in Korea, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, seizure problems, and dementia. She required close attention. She was admitted to Parklane West nursing home in San Antonio and remained under their care until her death. She was at Parklane for over 23 years and received excellent care. Susan is survived by her husband of 47 years, Col (Ret.) Richard Moline in Pflugerville, Texas, her daughter Betsy Johnson in Austin, her son Michael Moline in Houston and 4 grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers; David Olson and Robert Olson, and 2 sisters; Molly Gaffney and Penny Curtin. Funeral Services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on October 7, 2014 at 1:45 PM.
