Tanya was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend. Tanya was full of life. She loved laughing and having fun with her family and friends. Always trying to do for others and make people happy. She loved giving and seeing joy on people’s faces. She showed kindness to everyone she met and was friendly and warm hearted.
Her children were her life and passion. She always tried her best to give and do for them. It warmed her heart to see her children happy and having fun. She was their biggest cheerleader in everything they did in their lives. She faced many years of medical challenges yet remained strong and steadfast, and fought with everything she had.
Tanya is survived by her husband of 17 years, Martin Valenzuela; son, Makenan “Mack” P. Valenzuela; daughters, Kali K. Wilson and Kylee K. Valenzuela; parents, Alvin “Skip” Wilson Sr. and Lottie Wilson; brother, Alvin Wilson Jr. (Brey); sister: Sheri Viernes (Nate); nephews, Michael Wilson (Naomi) and Kane Wilson; and niece, Malia Viernes.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Wilson Ohana in Hawai’i, Texas Ohana, and the church members of Windcrest United Methodist Church, where she was a member for 18 years.
Tanya is a bright light that will forever live on in our hearts. We find comfort knowing that she is in Heaven, watching over us. She is forever cherished and forever missed.
