Theodore Jr. was born August 12, 1934 in Cleveland, OH to Theodore W. Longstreet Sr. and Grace. He served four years in the U.S. Navy and twenty years in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the U.S. Military, MSgt. Theodore Longstreet, USAF, Retired went on to have a ten year career in civil service. After retiring from civil service, MSgt. Theodore Longstreet, USAF, Retired enjoyed a life of fishing, hunting, camping, and Rving around the U.S. with his wife, Addie.
He is survived by a wife of 56 years, Addie, sons, Herman Larry Ploucher and wife Karin from Fayetteville, NC., Gary Ploucher and wife Phylliss from Macclenny, FL., daughter, Cathy Page-Helgoe of Springfield, MA., son, Bobby Ploucher and wife Kris of St. Hedwig, TX., daughter, Rebecca Longstreet- Kreiling and husband Ken of Live Oak, TX. He also leaves behind a niece, Hedi Robey and husband Jeff of Cleveland, OH., several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore W. Longstreet Sr., his mother, Grace, sisters: Dorthy Kellen, Georgia Longstreet and Jean Beckett, sons: Daniel P. Longstreet and Bill Ploucher, grandsons: Andrew Page and Corey Lambert.
A visitation for MSgt. Theodore Longstreet, USAF, Retired will be held Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Converse First Baptist Church, 9162 FM 78, Converse, Texas. An interment will occur Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:45 PM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter 5.
