Thomas William (Trey) Renton III, age 45 passed away May 6th 2025, He was born January 9, 1980, in San Antonio, Texas to his loving parents Thomas William (Bill) Renton, Jr & Jeanette L. Brown-Horton. Trey graduated from Taft high school class of 1998.
Trey was one that if you were around you had to be laughing. His sarcasm and practical jokes will be forever life long cherished memories that will be shared for generations and beyond. He was the calm when you needed calm, He was the protector when you needed saving, he was the shoulder when you needed talking, He was a council in all subjects and if he didn’t know the answer he could find it, learn it and then master it. If he didn’t know how something worked he had a need to know how to figure it out. He was the person with the phone number you had to remember because he was the one call you needed to make. He was a strong manly fierce force that never said no if you needed a helping hand. He found his true love Kimberly Hill 20 years ago this month, together they built a wonderful life and faced health challenges including a kidney transplant for Trey in 2023. He had since the transplant valued every day of life and making the most of it. He was extremely grateful for the gift of life given and advocated for organ donation. We as a family are incredibly grateful for the gift of time given because any minute with Trey was priceless. His favorite things in life besides family and friends were smoking various meats to perfection, collecting all things hulk because he was our true life hulk at 6’5” inches tall. He and Kimberly were huge animal care and rescue advocates.
For many years wherever Trey was employed at they immediately became family to him. So many companies that have had Trey as an employee mourn alongside the family in this great loss.
Trey is survived by his loving wife Kimberly Sue Hill of 20 years, His loving fur daughters Sam-Sam, and Dixie. His parents Thomas W. (Bill) Renton, Jr. (Ric), Jeanette L. Brown-Horton, Sisters Catherine Dibble (Alex), Lindsey Redden (Austin), Nieces Lillian Dibble, Clara Redden. Nephews Scott, Ethan, Oliver Dibble. As well, in addition, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and family friends.
