Victoria Lynn Zapper

Victoria Lynn Sophia Zapper, 62, died March 21, 2012 at Vitas Innovative Hospice in San Antonio, Texas, after a short illness. Her funeral service will be held April 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas followed by interment. Vickie was born on September 17, 1949 in San Pedro, California, to Patricia and Julien Zapper. She earned a master’s degree from University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) in Education and had a successful career teaching. She was married to Moses M. McGuire on July 26, 1986. Vickie was preceded in death by her mother Patricia, father Julien, grandparents Sophia and George. In addition, Vickie was survived by her loving sister and brother, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles and friends. Her family paid this tribute to her, “Vickie was loved and will be missed.
