Me. Padilla is greatly missed. He was such a warm and loving man. I lived across the street from him for a few years. After moving away it was well over 20 before seeing him again. He just happened to be outside working in the yard when I was reminiscing driving through my old neighborhood. Thinking to myself “Surely he won’t remember me”, I stopped anyway to ask about Jorge, Carlos and Ana and to my surprise Mr. Padilla said “Pam, how are you and how have you been?” He was a very special angel placed here on Earth and I look forward to seeing  him and his entire family in Heaven.

Vic will always be remembered with laughter, joy and love. We are so very grateful for the time we could enjoy him. For me, it is a blessing that my Felipe and Ana couldnspend time with one of my coolest and dearest uncles.
We love you all very much, and stand by you.  Be sure that at our house you always have a home if you want to come to Guatemala.

Mr. Padilla was always so kind when I visited San Antonio.  I know he is well and with his wife in heaven.

Mr Padilla was like a dad to me. He helped me get my first car. The fondest memory i have is that he always made pancakes on Saturday morning for me, Debbie, Jackie and Ana.after we went out the Friday night before. The Padilla family always included my mom and I on the Christmas eve gathering every year for the last 41 years. Mr Padilla was a kind,  caring man and will be greatly missed. RIP and fly with angels. 

Heartfelt sympathy to the Padilla family.  It is so sad to let not one, but both parents go in such a short time. Faith will allow you to lift his spirit and memories will bring smiles and laughter after the tears.
Although I only spent a short time (with Ana and her Dad), there was always a light in his eyes that seemed to come from joy.

I'll be forever in debt for how kind the Padilla family was to me when I was a teenager.  I almost felt like part of the family, with how Vic and Elena treated me at that point in my life.  I'll miss both of them.  My thoughts and prayers to the wonderful family they leave behind.

We want to express on sorry we are to hear that Uncle Victor has passed on. We pray God comfort all the family and help you in your time of sorrow. Uncle Victor was a great man and we loved him and his keen sense of humor and good common sense. We will miss him. Rest at ease Uncle your watch is over. Love you.

Victor is preceded in death by his wife Elena Papahiu Padilla.


Victor is survived by his daughter Ana Padilla (Franz) of San Antonio, TX, his sons Jorge Padilla of San Antonio, TX, and Carlos Padilla (Linda) and grandsons Jacob Garcia, Eriq Padilla and Daniel Padilla of San Antonio, TX.
