

She is survived by her loving husband Joseph J. Kozusko (CMSGT, U.S. Air Force retired); daughters, Karen Grona (Gordon); Sharon Binford (Donald); and Jeanne Vuono (Bill); grandchildren, Kayla Kloesel (Eddie); Shane Grona; Ashlee Drake (Jack); Trey Binford (Ashley); and Caleb Vuono; great grandchildren, Madison and Mollie Kloesel; Abram, Ezra, and Jubilee Drake; Emma, Dori, and Gracie Binford.
Also, brother and sisters-in-law, Rick and Anita Kozusko; Elizabeth and Joseph Bajusik; Gladys Kozusko; Jim Pevarnik and Ann McDonald, and numerous nieces and nephews in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA and Wilmington, NC areas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Elsie McDonald; and her brother, Jerry McDonald.
Virginia graduated from Hayden Catholic High School in Topeka and attended Marymount College in Salina, KS. Her first job was with the Kansas Turnpike System. She married Joseph on August 18, 1956 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka, KS.
They were stationed at the Air Defense Command Headquarters at Ent Air Force Base in Colorado Springs and she was employed by the engineering contractors developing the Air Force Academy. She received her real estate license in the early 70's and then went on to work at the Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union in mortgage lending. She retired with 24 years of service as the Senior Mortgage Loan Officer.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home in Universal City. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 9:30 a.m. at Chapel One on Randolph Air Force Base. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
