Virginia R. Lingua

Virginia was born and raised in Licking Missouri. She had an unwavering faith in God and was a faithful member of King of Kings Lutheran Church. She loved reading her Bible and Portals of Prayer devotional. She leaves us rich in memories and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, and their son; Raymond C. Lingua, II and his wife Debbie; two grandsons, Brian Lingua and his wife Ann; Nicholas Lingua and his wife Monica; along with four great grandchildren, Kirsten, Kyleigh, Christian and Emily.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Ben West, Sr.; mother, Clara Eakers, her sister, Beatrice Slaughter, and brothers Elmer, Ben and Clarence West.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at 1:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston. The Lingua family invites friends for a luncheon in honor of Virginia at King of Kings Lutheran Church following the inurnment.
