Wanda Leona Burkey Buchanan

Texas. Wanda was born August 26, 1931 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Carl and Garnet Burkey Sr.

Survivors of Mrs. Buchanan include her husband of 62 years Delbert H.”Buck” Buchanan, Sr.; children: Delbert H. “Buck” Buchanan, Jr. and his wife Diane, Debra John and her husband Leonard, Barry Buchanan and his wife Jane; grandchildren: Nathan Buchanan and his wife Val, Elizabeth Morgan and her husband TJ, Daryl John and his wife Kestla, Bryan and Austin John, Jeremy, Jessica Buchanan, Jacob Buchanan and his wife Ashley; great grandchildren: Espie, Jackson, Taylor, Amber, David, Natalee and Madison; brother: Melvin Burkey and his wife Sue; sister-in-law: Mary Archer ; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 6 to 9 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
