Wanda Lynn Paganucci went peacefully to be with our Lord on March 14, 2020. Born Wanda Lynn Hall on March 29, 1957 in Selma, Alabama, Wanda gracefully touched many lives throughout her own. Through her zest for life and loving personality, Wanda warmed countless hearts, especially those of her family and closest friends. She achieved much success while she enjoyed a passionate and fruitful career as a Registered Nurse, leaving an impact throughout the medical community.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Berley and Edna Hall. She is survived by her loving husband Louis Paganucci; her daughter Michele Lee and her husband Robert; her son Louis Paganucci Ill and his wife Colby; and her 5 grandsons Colton, Ryan, Tyler, Hunter, and Lucas who were the apples of her eyes. She leaves behind 4 siblings, Russell Hall, Sheila Wilkinson, Beth Hall, and Vicki Covington.
A visitation for Wanda will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX. A memorial service will occur Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Journey Fellowship Church. The service will be live streamed via the Journey Fellowship Facebook page.
In keeping with the spirit of Wanda and for the community she so loved and lived to serve; the family would like to respectfully request that memorial services scheduled for Saturday March 21, 2020 be limited to immediate family at this time. A memorial celebration of Wanda’s well lived life will take place in the future. Visitation services scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2020 will be held at their specified time; however, given the current health crisis and at-risk family and friends, please kindly limit visitation to only 2 individuals at a time. Hand sanitizer will be available, but those paying their respects are welcomed to bring their own as well.

“The outpour of love, prayers, and support from dear friends and the community has been so overwhelmingly beautiful during our time of grief. We truly appreciate each kind word, act, and display of compassion and are very grateful for all of you. It is with genuinely broken hearts that we must ask that those outside of immediate family refrain from being in physical attendance during Wanda’s memorial service. We are greatly devastated to make this request but would like to extend an invitation to watch her services in real time via Facebook Live. Our dear Wanda loved to care for others, and during this time of health risks would encourage all to please assess the risks to themselves, their loved ones, and others who may be at high risk. Wanda worked for the health and benefit to all, and while we are heartbroken that we may not be able to mourn alongside such a multitude of those who loved her as we did; we know that Wanda would not want that. To honor her and what she stood for, we respectfully ask for your understanding and support once again. We will carry with us all your love and heartfelt thoughts, even to Wanda herself.
