

William was born at Lackland Air Force Base on April 25, 1948, to William Spencer Carpenter II & Jean Lorraine Waibel. Being part of an Air Force family, Bill had the opportunity to travel all over the world. He graduated from Wagner Highschool in the Philippines, & attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After college Bill spent time traveling the States, & developed a life-long affection for stained glass art. He built a distinguished career in software development. William would often contribute to his community through volunteering with organizations such as United Way & Haven for Hope. After Retirement Bill continued his passion for stained glass art, founding Color With Light, a stained glass company.
Bill will be forever remembered as as an exceptional husband, father, & friend, an avid cook, & a wine connoisseur. He enjoyed nothing more than the loving company of his family & close friends. William's light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Jean Carpenter, & sister, Laurie McDonald.
Bill leaves behind to honor his memory, his wife of 19 years, Narawadee Carpenter, sons, Warren & Theodore David Carpenter, step-son, Worakit Thiwatongkolkul, daughter Stephanie Michelle Calandro, step-daughter Wichaya Nampror, sisters, Abby Dentry, Maryrose Barker, Kathleen Carpenter, & Martha Carpenter, grandchildren, Jack Calandro, Max Calandro, Worabhumin Thiwatmongkolkul, & Worabhudit Thiwatmongkolkul.
the family would like to thank the many friends and relatives for their countless prayers and support. In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made by donation to United Way & Haven for Hope.
