Our deepest condolences for the loss of Mr. Tabb. He has been a teacher, leader, and overall godly example to our sons, Eddie, Christian, and Hunter, and to our daughter-in-law, Alexa...and to all those who had the good fortune of knowing him. He was kind in spirit and put others before himself. His servant heart was evident in all areas of his life.  Whether on a RA or school field trip, class time or sports events, Mr. Tabb was there to support the students he influenced. He loved the Lord, and with a humble heart, he directed that love toward others. Mr. Tabb, thank you for the seeds you planted in the lives around you. We celebrate your life that honored Christ, and we will pray for those you left behind, including your sweet mother, Diane Tabb, who has also influenced our family as Hunter’s and Alexa’s teacher. Ms. Tabb, we pray God’s comfort for you during this difficult time. You raised a special person, and we thank God for him and you.

Our deepest condolences and prayers of comfort go out to you.. We are saddened to hear of your very kind son Bill Tabb passing. Kyle and Kayla have such nice memories of Mr. Tabb being there teacher and  sharing his passion for the Bible with them.  

As you know my mom (Margaret Echols) absolutely adored Bill Tabb. She always talked about their times in SOS. I’m sure she gave him the biggest hug as they reunited in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Bill.  I am praying fervently for comfort for all of you.  Bill and I were Privates in The Light Brigade together under the command of Col Charles Colvin.  I moved away after HS  but was not surprised to hear how much Bill had fluorished over the years at FBCUC.  He was a very selfless person and is now no doubt serving in the true Light Brigade.  With the way things are going here, I'm sure we'll see him very soon......in the twinkle of an eye.

Mrs. Tabb- 

Our deepest sympathies at the loss of Bill (or Mr. Tabb as he was known to our 3 children- Wesley, Rebecca and Lillie).  All  3 were taught Bible and History at FBA, and Bill's devotion to his students was unmatched.  Wherever there was a need in student ministry, either at the Academy or within the Church- Bill was there.  Even after our kids left FBA and went to public school, Bill would often come out to their high school sporting events to show support.  He was a tremendous educator and friend to our family, and will deeply be missed.  

We have NO DOUBT that he received a thunderous "Well done thy faithful servant" from our Lord!

Diane – You have our deepest sympathy.  May God walk beside you and your family during this very difficult time.  Bill (Mr. Tabb) taught our daughter Hannah Bible and History at FBA Academy.   I recall Hannah sharing often how much she enjoyed learning about God’s Word and our nation’s history.  Bill made learning fun, yet he taught in such a way as to present the facts/truths in a straight forward manner without diluting the core lesson or message.

Bill planted spiritual seeds in the lives of the many he taught and I will be forever thankful that Hannah was one of them.  I’m certain Bill received a “well done my faithful servant” greeting from his Father (our Savior) upon his homecoming.  May you and your family take comfort in the fond memories you shared with Bill.  God bless you!     

My deepest sympathy to the Tabb family. Bill was a faithful member of the Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program (RACAP) where he served as Vice President of the Board. His willingness to serve will be missed by all. Also, I will miss seeing him at the football games cheering for the Buffaloes on Friday nights, and the Knights of Columbus fish fries.  May your light shine bright in heaven. Well done, good and faithful servant.

Bill was one of the two who assisted with my baptism last month. I will never forget him. Very kind and very caring. I am so sorry for your loss. 

Diane and Michelle  -  Cissy, Steven, Katherine and I have such wonderful memories of Bill growing up in First Baptist and then continuing his serving in the church as an adult ---RAs, VBS, youth work, a Deacon, teaching at the Academy, and a member of Gideons.  He will truly be missed.  He was also active in the community, as we remember him volunteering at the Pumpkin Patch and other civic activities. May you have comfort from those sweet memories and comfort knowing he is with our Lord and Savior.

Bill aka Billy...when we were growing was always ready to take time out for me to play outside or go to a library amd do things with me even if he was doing something else... When he got older and my kids were around him, my daughter alex wantes to go to the park billy said when he found his shoes he would go... Alex ran in the room where his shoes were and came back and said ok i found your shoes we can go now... I didnt spend alot of time in Texas the last several years but i know the psrt of Billy would have been the same if we came to Texas he would have made time for any of the kids like always... Billy had a kind amd gentle loving heart and always did for others sometimes before himself.
The one story i remember was his mom telling is when he was a kid was the little bunny foo foo story... In the story the fairy was bopping them on the head he wanted it changed to kissing them on the head and i think i remember his mom changing it to kissing the bunnies on the head... Thats how gentle and loving he was even in a childs book he wanted love and kindness.
