Mrs. Howell was born on January 29, 1932 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Rufus and Mary Elizabeth Griffin and her husband Clinton Harry Howell of seventy-five years. She was the former co-owner with her late husband of C. Howell Ceramic for over forty years on Virginia Beach Blvd. She was a very talented artist.
Survivors include a daughter Alice Howell; a sister Margaret Howell Biggs and her husband Clinnie.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 17, from 3 to 5:00 pm at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 18, 3:00 pm at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
