Alice C. Palaszewski

Alice C. Palaszewski, 86, passed away on August 21, 2014. She was born in Passaic, NJ to the late John and Catherine Crawbuck. She was a retired librarian and bookmobile driver for the City of Norfolk; past Commander of the D.A.V.A. Unit 22 of Portsmouth; member of the Red Hat Society and the Tarrallton Senior Club of Norfolk; and she loved to travel.

She is survived by two sons, Edward S. Palaszewski and his wife Brenda of Norfolk, and Mark Palaszewski of Falls Church, VA; a daughter, Nancy J. Sheehan and her husband Michael of Norfolk; her grandchildren, Christopher E. Palaszewski and his wife Amber, Vanessa C. Palaszewski, and Kellie Anne Sheehan; and great-grandchildren, Isaac and Hannah Palaszewski. Alice is predeceased by her husband, Edward S. Palaszewski ; sister, Catherine Romanowski; brother, John Crawbuck; brother-in-laws Joseph, Teddy and Richard Palaszewski and sister-in-law, Mary Stankowski. She will be missed as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Rosewood Memorial Park.
