I am sending sincere condolences to the Scott Family. Deaconess Scott lived to see her 100th birthday. God was good to her in so many ways. Deaconess Scott will truly be missed by family, church family, and friends. RIP Deaconess Amanda Scott! 2 Timothy 4 :7

Deaconess Scott was my pew partner and my Church Mother.  When I became a Deaconess, Sister Scott and I became good friends. I came to love her like a mother.  For years she sat on the corner of the pew but when she realized I would be stepping across her to go for my break, she quietly and comically said, " You need to sit on the corner." I laughed and said "Yes ma'am."  We would call and check on each other. I got so much joy from her calls because she always had words of encouragement.  We talked about her garden, our family members and Church and about missing our Church services. When the weather was nice, she volunteered at the Church's Food Pantry with my husband where he enjoyed her company also.  He got joy out of taking her McDonald's coffee and a biscuit. When Sister Scott and I talked last, she asked me to tell him how she missed her Food Pantry friends. Words cannot express how We, the Wessells Family, will miss our dear Sister Scott. We truly love her.
