A great classy guy with a ton of great stories, great laughs and a whole lotta love.
I always felt engrossed, captivated and connected to a great time in America 
when i listened to him speak.  My life is better having known and worked with Amelio.  Peace and Love

Quentin introduced my parents to each other in the 1950's. Having known him my entire life, he felt like family and will be greatly missed.

Tory Borland (Hampton VA)

Known as Quentin by his celebrity friends in Hollywood and New York,  in Virginia, he was known as Amelio. His writing skills were put to good use with George Carlin and Richard Pryor along with many others.  He also wrote screen plays for several movies.  Always living life to the fullest, he loved to travel to far away places, such as Italy, China, Egypt, and Spain for several weeks at a time. As World War II began, he was determined to get into the Army, although he was rejected twice for medical reasons.  His determination led him to a specific officer who managed to remove the red tape, and allowed him to become a soldier. During World War II, he served as a translator to officers, as he spoke fluently in Italian and Spanish and had a good grasp on German and French.  A wonderful sense of humor and very quick witted, Amelio stayed busy and on the go.  Never at a lack of words,he kept a room alive with his charm and stories from his adventerous past. It has been a pleasure and priviledge to have Amelio as a friend these last twenty years, and he will be missed greatly by our family.

So sorry to hear. A great character, who seemed to lead an interesting life.
