Andrew Leroy VanWart

Andrew Leroy VanWart, 56, passed away on August 31, 2023. He was a kind, friendly gentle man with the best smile and biggest heart. In his younger days, Andrew participated in the Special Olympics. He loved to celebrate all holidays and everyone’s birthdays. For Andrew, Kiss was the greatest rock band ever; they were his number one favorite. His second love was the San Francisco 49ers football team; he loved to watch them play ball. Andrew was predeceased by his father Vinal L. VanWart; and a brother, David VanWart. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Margaret VanWart; sister Margaret Lane and his brother Harold VanWart; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held from 3-5:00 pm, on Saturday, September 9th, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virginia Special Olympics.
