

Angelina "Angie" Haddock passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, just three days after celebrating her 76th birthday. Born on July 5, 1950, to William A. Haddock and Frances Curto Haddock, Angie was raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. She attended Oscar Smith High School and later graduated from Indian River High School.
Angie had a lifelong passion for dancing. As a young girl, she loved dancing with her siblings while watching American Bandstand. Throughout her life, she found joy on the dance floor, she showcased doing the waltz and cha-cha. Her vibrant spirit, love of music, and warm smile touched everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Haddock and Frances Curto Haddock, her brothers, William A. Haddock Jr. and Robert F. Haddock and her nephews Larry T. Neal, Jr. and William J. Green.
She leaves behind her three children, Angela M. Hewitt (John) and Frances G. Lane (Shawn) Floyd E. Hicks II (Rachel). Her beloved grandsons, Austin M. Babcock, Thomas F. Babcock, and John M. Hewitt II. Her cherished great-grandchildren, Levi J. York and Amena M. Judah. Her sisters, Lena F. Walker (Rick) and Sarita F. Haddock. Her brother, Randolph S. Haddock (Tracey) and her longtime companion, Calvin Schiemann; along many other nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Family and friends are invited to Angie's Celebration of Life at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 611 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA. 23462. Her viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m., with a graveside service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers Angie would prefer donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
