Anita “Jody” Flavin, 79, passed away on March 26, 2025. She was born on March 7, 1946 to the late Hazel Nolte in Greenville, Ohio. She is predeceased by her best friend and husband, Charles T. Flavin.
Jody, retired from the Fleet and Family Support Center at Oceana Naval Base in 2021 after 34 years of unwavering service. Her knowledge, passion, and dedication of and to the Navy, our military service members and their families was inspirational.
She is survived by daughters, Cheryl A. Mummert and her husband Steven, Erin N. Flavin, Lani B. Clark and her husband Aaron, Tina M. Baty, Michelle A. Luke; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
