Benjamin Corpus, Sr., 87, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday with his family by his bed. Ben was born in Naic Cavite, Philippines to the late Fernando and Felipa Corpus. Ben retired from the US Navy and from the Merchant Marines. He loved cooking for his family and playing Bingo. He is survived by his wife, Carmelina; children, Benjamin, Jr., Celia (Ruben), Raymond (Denise), Alex and Rosemary (Francisco); sister, Soledad; grandchildren, Adam, Amanda Zabrianna, Alexandria, Xiomahra and Raeanna and a great granddaughter, Amelia.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Rosewood Memorial Park at 3pm, Thursday, December 17, 2015 with US Navy honors to be rendered. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
