Bernard F Brzostek, age 74, passed away on January 8, 2026. He was born on March 27, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Bernard, Sr. and Sarah Madelyn Brzostek. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Azalea Brzostek. Bernard was a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
A graduate of Kellam High School and the Virginia Beach Technical and Vocational Center, Bernard enjoyed a distinguished career in drafting. He was a gifted craftsman who could design and build nearly anything for his family and friends. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in gardening, cooking, and camping, and he cherished time spent reading the Bible or sharing long phone conversations with his loved ones.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 33 years Anita Van Brzostek, his sisters Eva Brzostek Wolf (Joel), Joann Harrison; brothers-in-law Ha Van, Michael Van and Tai Chi Van; and extended family and friends.
A service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 19, at Rosewood Memorial Park Mausoleum, 631 N. Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
