Bonnie Jean Copenhaver, 75, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, March 4, 2021. Bonnie was a Great Bridge Girl born to the Trueblood and Cooper family in Chesapeake, VA. She retired from Qualex Photo Finishing after many years. She worked at Garden Gazebo locations in the area. Bonnie enjoyed simple pleasures like watching the birds and squirrels playing in “Her Tree” and spaghetti dinners with friends. She enjoyed trips north to resorts with the Mason family, trips to Alaska and many visits in Florida with her extended Copenhaver family. She is survived by her husband, Robert Ken Copenhaver and daughter, Jennifer Wagner: one surviving sibling, Ben Trueblood and family; the Trueblood family in Gloucester and four Copenhaver family children, and grandchildren, in Florida.
A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Friday, March 12, 2021 at Rosewood Kellum FuneraL Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10am in the chapel.
